Thomas Witt is an experienced leader in the transportation industry with over 45 years of expertise. Witt currently serves as CEO of Dart Transit Group. Previously, Witt led JLE Industries as General Manager and served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Arnold Transportation Services in Arlington, Texas. He also served as General Manager at PGT Transportation and continues to provide vital insight and feedback to professionals and business leaders in the transportation industry as a freelance Business Consultant.
Throughout his career, Witt has executed a series of complex restructures, revitalizations, and strategic sales, including:
- Restructure of a 500-unit open deck carrier and subsequent sale to a strategic buyer
- Restructure and sale of a 600-unit dry van carrier to a strategic buyer
- Revitalization of an 800-unit open deck carrier
- Restructure of a 1,200-unit multi-mode carrier
- Turn-around, restructure, and sale of a 2,000-unit publicly traded carrier to a strategic buyer
- Consulting services to transportation companies across tanker, auto-hauling, and specialized commodity sectors
