Backed by over 45 years of experience in the transportation industry, Witt is well-equipped to guide Dart Transit Group with a resourceful and knowledgeable approach to executive leadership.

Throughout his career, Witt has built a distinguished track record of leading large asset-based carriers across multiple transportation modes, managing executive responsibilities within both publicly traded and privately held enterprises, and delivering results in restructure, revitalization, and turn-around situations. His financial acumen — including the development of sophisticated reporting mechanisms, financial controls, and corporate governance practices — has been central to his success in each of these roles.
Witt brings broad experience on both the buy and sell side of transportation and logistics enterprises, with a substantial background working alongside investment banks, private equity firms, and various investment entities. His ability to integrate new technologies to streamline cost and improve operational effectiveness has remained a consistent strength across every organization he has led.
Prior to Dart Transit Group, Witt served as General Manager at JLE Industries, one of the nation’s fastest-growing flatbed carrier companies, and as Chief Operating Officer at Arnold Transportation Services in Arlington, Texas. He also provides ongoing consulting services to transportation companies across tanker, auto-hauling, and specialized commodity sectors.
